In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the Large Eggs (4), Heavy Cream (2 cups), Vanilla Extract (1 tsp), Orange (1) zest, Ground Nutmeg (1 pinch), Ground Cinnamon (1/4 tsp), and Salt (1 pinch) until well combined.

Place the Panettone (1) slices in the custard mixture. Let them soak for about 2–3 minutes per side, ensuring they absorb the mixture but aren’t too soggy.

Place a large skillet over medium heat and add a generous amount of Butter (as needed). Allow it to melt and start bubbling slightly.

Gently place the soaked panettone slices in the skillet. Cook on medium-low heat for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the French toast from the skillet and serve immediately. Dust with Powdered Confectioners Sugar (to taste) add a drizzle of Maple Syrup (to taste) and dollop of whipped cream.
