Prepare the poundcake: Preheat your oven to 325℉. Grease 2 loaf pans with nonstick spray.

Cut Fresh Strawberries (3 cups) and place them on skewers. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the All-Purpose Flour (3 1/2 cups), Baking Powder (1 tsp), and Baking Soda (1/2 tsp).

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the Unsalted Butter (2 cups), Granulated Sugar (2 1/2 cups), and Kosher Salt (1 tsp). Cream together until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.

With the mixer running on low, add the Eggs (6) one at a time until fully incorporated. Add the Buttermilk (1/2 cup) and Vanilla Extract (2 tsp) and mix until combined.

Alternate adding half the flour mixture and Sour Cream (1/2 cup) until smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pans and bake until a toothpick comes out clean, about 1 hour. Let the cake cool completely before slicing.

Grill the cake and berries: Heat your grill to high heat. Place the sliced pound cake on the grill and cook until toasted golden brown, about 3 minutes flip and grill on the other side. Place the strawberry skewers on the grill and cook until the berries become tender, about 5 minutes.

Macerate the berries: In a large mixing bowl, combine the grilled berries, Ground Sumac (1/2 tsp), Granulated Sugar (4 Tbsp), and Kosher Salt (1/8 tsp). Let the mixture sit until a syrup begins to pool at the bottom of the bowl.

Make the whipped cream: In a large mixing bowl whisk together the Heavy Cream (1 1/2 cups) and Powdered Confectioners Sugar (3 Tbsp) until medium peaks form.

Serve the grilled pound cake with a spoonful of berries and dollop of Whipped Cream (to taste).
